My setup: FSX SE on 64bit i7 core.
- FreeMesh X
- REX TD/SoftCloud and a few other addons from Steam and from Aerosoft.

I just purchased and downloaded Paro X and did a "Run as admin" install of "FSDG-Paro_v1.1_FSX_P3D".
- I select FSX:Steam as version to install
- I enter registration info
- It detects my FSX-SE folder "D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\FSX" which is what I choose as install location
- It installs some files then reports this error:

Unable to load the scenery.cfg! Please add the entries manually to your scenery library.

I may be missing something really basic and simple which I am not finding so would appreciate some help.

Well it did turn out to be something simple... and stupid. That selection bug in FSX.

I started FSX and went to "manually" add the scenery and of course, once you've selected the folder nothing happens. You have to click in the "white" space in the selection dialogue and then the Paro X gets added. Duh!

Will now go and read the approach docs and try it out. Can't wait!

Glad you sorted it out yourself. Of course this should not happen in the first place, the scenery library should be updated automatically. Maybe you didn't have admin rights when you installed the addon. If this happens while installing other FSDG addons please let us know.
