Animated AESLite traffic and P3Dv3.1

After installing the latest version of LGTS into P3Dv3.1 I see running the FSDG Scenery Configurator there are 3 options related to Animated AESLite traffic where the first two of these options are checked by default. They are Apron and City.
Is it OK to have these two options checked when using P3Dv3.1? I remember in the past stuff related to AES was a no-no in P3D but maybe that changed?
