Can't acknowledge ATC parking at DGAA

Hi there, I just bought the DGAA scenery. When I request a gate, ATC gives me one, but then I cannot acknowledge it - I can only ask them to repeat. Any idea what might be causing this?

Does this happen frequently? Did it happen before on any other airport?

Thank you for responding! Short answer, no it doesn't happen elsewhere. I've had it happen exactly once before in the last couple of years of msfs, but that was related to what I think is a known bug, where if you interrupt the ATC doing the ground handoff by pressing buttons too quickly the same thing occurs. Not a regular problem, however.
